Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving we celebrated with my family at my parent's house. We had such a fun time with one another and the girls loved playing with their cousins. I didn't get a whole lot of pictures but we had such a great time and I am so thankful for my family and the support they are to me.The day after Thanksgiving, we went up to my parents' cabin and spent the night. We had so much fun being with each other. Look at my little Gracie, she is such a darling.
All of the little girl cousins, minus Emma. They look so cute in their jammies. We had such a fun Thanksgiving and I am grateful for all the Lord has blessed me with. I am grateful for my family and that we can be together forever.

The Littlest Pilgrim

This year for Alexa's Thanksgiving Feast, her teacher told her that they could dress-up in Pilgrim clothes. I am not sure exactly how many people her teacher actually told or what she told the class exactly but Alexa was the only one who dressed-up, which of course didn't bother her. Any opportunity she has to dress-up she is excited about.

Playing with Scissors!!!

Well apparently Grace is a hairstylist in training. Today the girls were doing some art projects and as I was cleaning up the crayons, putting away the paper and SCISSORS, Alexa informs me that Grace cut her hair. I didn't even notice it until Alexa said something. Well sure enough, I look over at Grace, glance at the chair with hair on it and lo and behold, she gave herself BANGS!!! She actually did a pretty good job too!!!

Halloween Spooktacular!!!!

We had a lot of fun this Halloween. Our Halloween festivities started off the Friday before with our ward Halloween party. I misplaced my camera so I don't have any pictures, but it was a lot of fun and the girls had a blast at the trunk-or-treat. On Wednesday we went to my parents' house for a little Halloween costume parade and to decorate cookies. The girls had a lot of fun. Decorating cookies is one of their favorite things to do, so they were in heaven with all of the frosting and candy corns!!! On Thursday, Grace had her preschool Halloween party. She had so much fun playing games, being with her friends and of course eating some yummy treats!!!! On Friday we went to Alexa's Kindergarten Halloween parade. It was a lot of fun seeing all of the fun costumes. It was weird going to her parade. I can still remember my Halloween parades when I was little. I can't believe I am old enough to be doing this with my own little girl. Doug also carved the pumpkins for the girls. They had a lot of fun telling him exactly how they wanted them carved. Of course he had to make a little adjustment on Alexa's pumpkin-she wanted it carved out as the Little Mermaid. It was a lot of fun going trick-or-treating with the girls. It was unseasonably warm this Halloween and so the girls didn't even have to wear jackets. I can't remember a Halloween that I wasn't freezing, so it was a nice change! The girls got a pretty good stash of candy this year and had a great time. It was a lot of fun seeing them get so excited about all of the festivities!!!
